It turns out Joey is a better snowboarder than she is cross country skier. After having a tear filled morning she had a great time snowboarding. Then she came home sick. I gave her a hug when she got home and she was on fire. 103.6 temp, bleh. I came down with the same gunk and so she and I are quite the pair right now.
Nathan’s parents are taking my little girl on a three day ski trip. I have never been skiing, and my baby girl is going without me :-( She is going to have a great time I’m sure, and I will get over being jealous eventually. I just hope she comes home in one piece with tons of pictures!!
Did you dress out or suit up?
Johanna is now officially 6 years old. Still too short and light to even consider not using a booster seat though. What a bummer. This week we took her training wheels off her bike and she is learning to roller skate…good times!
when it comes to Girl Scout Cookies.
Two birthday’s in one day for my two kids and then a birthday for another three year old immediately following. Our extended party went off without a hitch, not too much left over pizza or cake. Nobody got badly injured or lost any limbs in the jolly jump. So now we are just swimming in presents and cardboard boxes. We had fun at the party after ours, it was especially nice that we didn’t have to think anymore. I am glad to be home, wishing we didn’t have to “lose” and hour of sleep tonight.
