Friday was the 100th day of school for Johanna, and, as most schools do, her class did various projects and centers revolving around he number 100. Today Johanna brought home her 100’s book that she “wrote”. Each sentence started with a prompt and is followed by her answer.
I wish I had 100 Pokemon.
I wouldn’t want 100 Brothers.
I can make 100 cookies.
I can eat 100 vegetables.
I could never eat 100 steaks.
If I had 100 dollars I would buy honey.
My son has been potty training for quite a while now, and has been fully competent at home, school and on the road for a few months. Once in the past he emptied a bucket of crayons into the potty, a few times a while ago he went “fishing” with toilet paper and splattered water everywhere, but today for the first time he filled the toilet with an entire roll of toilet paper and while standing on a stool so as not to get wet, flushed repeatedly until the entire bathroom was an inch under water.
Thank you Quinn, I needed to mop the floor. Next time can we not use toilet water though.
My friend Rose is engaged to be married!!!!! Party time!
After stories tonight, Quinn grabbed his sippy cup, set it on his bedside table and climbed into bed. “Mommy, I’m ready to sleep.” I was so shocked I didn’t know what to do, so I sat on the floor for 10 minutes until he fell asleep. Usually I have to hold him for a while sitting on the floor before he gets in bed.
