Relax…

its been so long i don’t even know what to say. Christmas was wonderful and relaxing. A real Family vacation. We spent time with family we hadn’t seen much of, we had spontaneous exploration, we played together…it was great. I miss being able to make plans as we go and have the flexiblity to change them on the spot.
Things im looking forward to in the new year: having a boobie-back party, quinn learning to walk, joey turning four and learning so many new things, going to disneyland without kids just me and nathan!!

The best part of our trip was driving to the snow. Both kids loved it! Some people let us use their sled and we found a little slope just our size…yea!

I asked nathans parents for grass and a sprinkler system for christmas and thats what I got. Horray!! now it need to get planted and set up but at least I’m a step close to having a functional yard.

Minor issue: Johanna desperatly wants a dog. Nathan and I would love to have one too, but we know its not the right time. I have told Joey that we need a house with a yard and grass so the dog has a place to run, etc. This morning she was in the bathroom and I heard her say…”Im so happy we are going to have grass cause now I can have a doggie, yea. I can get a dog now!” I feel so bad, I wish I could get her a puppy for Christmas.

yes, its true, twice in one week. This time I cleaned the meat juice out of the fridge and put away all the clean clothes nathan had washed. Unfortunatly my house is still a wreck.

My mom took me and the kids to Baja Fresh for lunch today. We were very close to being done when Joey announced that she needed to go poopoo. Blah! That always takes forever, and she sings while going, and its mildly embarrassing, and BF has a unisex oneholer. So after only two or three minutes the door handle wiggles…a few minutes later again, maybe a minute later a loud knock. I call out saying “Yes” five minutes later louder more obnoxious knocking, again I say “yes, hello” I hear keys jingle and more knocking. So I respond louder and more annoyed sounding. So finally Joey says she done. I wipe her and flush and start to wash my hands. She meanwhile unlocks the door and starts wiggling the handle. Immediately someone opens the door as I’m drying my hands. He acts shocked that anyone is in there and say oh, sorry and lets go of the door. I push it open and a lady flies across the room yelling, “I wait for you.” I said I’m sorry my daughter had to use the bathroom. Again she yells, “I wait fifteen minutes echh!”

Shut the hell up bitch my 3 year old had to take a fucking shit ya old hag. Leave me the fuck alone!!!

Joey woke me up at 6:30. i took her to school at 8:15. quinn had a 10:30 dr. appt. nathan quinn and i ate lunch at subway, picked up q’s Rx, and goy joey from school at 1:00. Quinn and i took a nap until 4:00, had a snack, took joey to mygym. it was closed…they forgot to tell us…went to the mall. joey got quinn a present, and quinn got joey one. got take out chinese food ate at my parents house, had cake, drove home. wow what a day!!

Joey jumped on my back knees first. I cried! Mommy you cry soft and I cry loud.

My back still feels bruised.

For christmas my wonderful husband bought me the softestsheets ive ever slept on…egyptian cotton 600 thread…mmm. So tonight when we got home from dinner and shopping I walked into our room to turn my new electric mattress cover on…mmmm… and there in the middle of my pillow is a rather large cat turd. And the Bitch shall die!!!

For the first time in a long time I had sudden motivation to clean. Quinn screamed for most of it, but I finally cleaned up the kitchen…dishes, counters, trash…the works. Oh except I still need to clean the stove and the floor and the refridgerator. The fridge is contaminated with meat juice thanks to vons.com….they don’t bag the meat and i didn’t think about defrosting in a bowl or something so my ground beef leaked everywhere. YUCK

Tomorrow we are having an early Christmas with my family. Nathan and the kids and I are going to Sacramento for Christmas and my sister and her husband are going to some mid-west state (I think Minnesota), so we are all getting together at my parents house to celebrate. We are also celebrating my brother-in-law’s birthday and my birthday!! Woohoo!

I don’t remember the last time our family passed a cold around so many times. Poor Quinn is just going through so much in these months. Between his allergic tummy, bacterial infection in his gut, and thick green goblins pouring down his face and gumming up his eyes…not to mention teeth poking through his gums. but all in all he’s a trooper. Smiling and talking most of the day. Eating new foods. He especially loves getting tastes from my plate. But no weight gain in over a month. It worries me a little, but the doctor seems unconcerned.
Joey seems to be getting less and less affected by the colds each time she gets sick, but nathan and I seem to get it worse each time. Maybe we should all sleep on separate rooms so nobody breaths on anybody else. (tee hee)
